Twelve Gambling Sites Granted eCOGRA Seal 29 Jun 2006 Internet gambling watchdog and standards body of the online casino industry has recently allotted 'Play it Safe' seals to twelve more gambling sites on the World Wide Web. The watchdog independently administers checks and monitors gambling sites in order to grant the 'Play it Safe' seal to those worthy of the title. 'We applaud these operators for their efforts and encourage others to help us reach our 100 seals goal by committing to the eCOGRA principals of fair gaming, responsible conduct and player protection,' said eCOGRA CEO Andrew Beveridge. He went on to explain that gambling fans care about the seal, and that seal-bearing casinos attract more gambling players and bring more revenue opportunities to these online casino sites. With the popularity of online gambling growing on a daily basis, and more and more abuse of this fact taking place, gambling fans and online casino operators are looking for ways to ensure safe and responsible gaming when it comes to the online gambling industry. Both sides know the importance of player protection, and because the eCOGRA seal is sought after by most, if not all, online casino operators, gambling fans are finding that the industry as a whole is taking this issue more seriously and working towards a goal of providing a safe and secure gambling experience. |  |
